Tactile signs create a difference in height and a view and a different feel to the surrounding entrance mat. This helps the visually impaired to visualize the route through the entrance to the interior and back out safely and as unobstructed as possible in familiar, but also new places.

In this way, the tactile guidance of buildings can also be continued over the carpet without separate plates or strips to be attached to the carpet, and thus cleaning under the entrance mat is still possible without difficult demolition work.
